On average from the twenty-four hours of the time; eight hours are dedicated towards work, another eight hours are dedicated towards sleep, and with the remaining hours left we can use it for personal decisions . Balancing our jobs, our social life, and other special commitments can be difficult for people to pay attention to their health. Living in such a fast-paced environment and performing various tasks does not offer one to have enough time and energy to improve a healthy diet and exercise. For this reason, my organization, Believe & Achieve, proposes to enhance a great interest to work on a process and instill a program at our local communities to invite individuals to prepare themselves and go through a positive life-changing process. …show more content…
In order for this program to endure, it was necessary to create a survey for us to learn what the responses of each applicant were so we can focus on what is significant –building a healthier lifestyle. We asked the following questions: what gender he or she is, and in what age range do each fall in. We discovered that from the 26 participants, 18 of them were female and the other 8 were male. Based off of this section of the survey, we can presume that if this program were to be managed, more women than men would attend. Similarly, about 13 of them were in between the ages of 18-24, and the other half fell into the other ages; 6 were between 25-35, 4 were between 36-45, 1 individual is between 46-54, and 2 of them were above 55 years of age. Questioning their age was necessary in order to infer what exercises each age group can do. To put into perspective, it would not be advisable for a 55-year-old woman to do 30 pushups at a class session, for it can be physically difficult and even dangerous for her to perform such activity given she might not be in the fitting conditions. Additionally, we wanted to know how long their workouts are and for how many days. In response to this question, 23 of our participants said that they workout between 30 minutes – or less – to about an hour, whereas the other 3 concluded anytime from one hour to more than 2 hours. Of the participants surveyed, 15 workout 0-2 days, 8 said 3-4 days, and 2 between 5-7 days. The purpose of this study is to devise a proper health routine, it was necessary to obtain information regarding age groups, gender, and how often one is under physical stress.Thus, our organization has concluded that anywhere between 3-5 days a week for as little as 30 minutes to an hour a day can help most people become more active and
