The definition of Leadership varies for different people. Northhouse (2013) describes that Leadership is a process whereby an individual influences a group of individuals to achieve a common goal. Whereas, Burns (1797) defines leadership as a process whereby leaders induce followers "to act for certain goals that represent the values and the motivations-the wants and the needs, the aspirations and expectations-of both leaders and followers, and the genius of leadership lies in the manner in which leaders see and act on their own and their followers' values and motivations"

I decided that Mother Teresa (1910 -1997) as my leadership case. Agnes Gonxha Bojaxhiu was known as Mother Teresa was the leader and founder of “Missionaries of Charity” and dubbed as a Saint by Pope John Paul II (Reuters,2003) She received her noble prize for Peace at 1979. (Nobelprize.org, 1979)
Mother’s Teresa’s actions have affected the world and improved the lives of people in need. She would be a prime example of a leader. (It is debated that mother Teresa is whether a transformational or a servant leader)

I believe that my style of leadership is similar to Mother Teresa. I have asked my friends to help take the Servant Leadership Questionnaire that is found in Northhouse (2013) and found that I behave as a moderate servant leader only with an exception of higher score for putting my subordinates first.
