Growing up as a child we begin to wonder how and what our lives are going to be like as we grow. Sometimes most of us need someone to look up, or someone to guide us such as your mom, dad, older siblings, close friend, or even your grandparents. In my case the person who really influenced me as a child was my lovely mother. She helped me overcome so many obstacles and fears. She did what most mothers would do, and that is to show me how to cook meals for myself and my family.
For example, she would always tell me “you have to learn to cook for yourself because I’m not always going to be able to do it”, with her being a hard worker I decided to do what was best and that was helping her get food done for a family of seven. She
