A video game that has arguably the biggest fanbase out of all gaming, contains the the most tragic storyline in a video game, and is still the highest requested game for international release. Mother 3 is the sequel to Mother and Mother 2 ( Known in America as EarthBound Beginnings and EarthBound) and unlike its predecessors, Mother 3 has been japanese exclusive ever since it first came out on April 20th, 2006. Nintendo, the company that makes all of these games, claims that the game still faces some obstacles that can’t be ignored that prevent Mother 3 to be localized around the world. However, this period of relief is short-lived, as Bronson (the local Blacksmith) suddenly arrives with "some good news...and...some bad news." The good news is that Bronson managed to find a severed fang, and that it could make a great weapon. The bad news, however, is where he found the fang: "It was pierced through your wife’s heart." Hinawa's murder shocks everyone, but especially devastates Flint, who assaults his peers in a blind rage before being knocked unconscious by Lighter (Flint’s childhood friend).
Mother 3 starts out very differently from the first two Mother games as is it divided up into eight different chapters. The Nowhere Islands change throughout the story dramatically because of the influence of the Pigmask Army, transforming from a simple low-tech rural society to a more modern twenty-first century infrastructure that's similar to the first two Mother games (hence the game's theme of nature vs. technology). The entirety of Mother 3 revolves around the death of a Mother (i.e. Hinawa) and how the family, especially her son Lucas, ultimately come to terms with her death as well as the "presumed" death of Lucas's twin brother Claus (at the time), in the pursuit of getting vengeance for their Mother’s death. Hinawa being stabbed in the heart by the Mecha Drago brainwashed by the Pig Mask Army, her subsequent funeral in Tazmily Village and the Mecha Drago being fatally wounded by Flint, just can't be removed from the game when those events form the backbone foundation for later key events in Mother
