The most pressing issue our world is facing today is social inequality. Social inequality includes issues of gender, race, and sexuality. It is the most pressing issue because it negatively impacts countries economically, it negatively impacts individuals physically and mentally, and it ignores the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. It’s important to realize that inequality can and is ruining the economy, it is unable to grow and affecting everyone. The disturbance of the economy was mirrored in a recent study conducted in the United States.
