The Northwestern R-I FFA Chapter is looking to reorganize the FFA Alumni. At one point, Northwestern R-I had an FFA Alumni, which was created to support and promote the FFA organization, FFA activities and agricultural education on local, state, and national levels. According to “Starting a local FFA Alumni Chapter Handbook,” FFA is a lifelong organization that begins in the seventh grade and lasts as long as you want it. Members can begin as student members and then activate their alumni membership or they may simply begin as alumni.…

The best college students learn very quickly that the best thing that they can do is never give up, discover something new every day, work with the community as best as they can and show great respect for the learning community. They also learn that service to the community is essential and they do this by helping others and making them stronger learners. Although Bain’s book does a very good job of explaining all of these values, the one that stands out to me is that of discovery.
