Most influential person: Julia Amparo Huitz de Castillo, my mom.My mom is not only my mom but my source of Inspiration.My mom is a psychologist, but she decided to stop working to take care of my sister and me. My mom told me that neither gold nor silver could buy time with her daughters.This decision caused my grandparents to be disappointed about my mom's actions.The love of my mother for me is so inexplicable that only she understands it.It took me seventeen years to understand my mom's love for me.It is that love that prefers to die so that another person can live.That was exactly what my mom did: My mom died herself so I could live.
I remember when we lived in Guatemala, my mother preferred to go hungry to see my dad, my sister and I eat.I remember my mom saying “ the bean you left on your plate is crying” every time I refused to finish my plate of beans.With this funny phrase,my mom taught to be grateful not only for food but everything that God has put in my hands.I remember my mom teaching how to read the bible when I did not even know how to say my own name.As soon I learned how to read,my mom gave me her motivational books.By reading these books, I started to love reading.
