my parents wanted us both to get off of screens at 8 o’clock. so we decided that he would play till 6 and I would play till 8 so we would each get two hours. but it around 6 o’clock my mom texted back and said I should go to soccer. even if I wasn't feeling well I could sit on the sidelines and watch my team practice. So my brother and my plans for screwed. Soccer usually ended at 7:30 and I would get home at around 8. so I ended up going to soccer and my brother got the Xbox for the whole night which was about 4 hours. The Next day I thought To make it equal that I should get for more hours than him because I didn't get to play yesterday and he got 4 more hours than me. it was Friday so we were able to play till 10 o’clock since we didn't have school the next day. But he had other plans. his expectation was that we were getting the same amount of time that night. So I went upstairs to my parents and told them the situation. they thought that we should both get equal time. “The human face is, after all, nothing more nor less, a mask.” -Agatha Christie People only know what you show them about yourself, and when you finally show your true colors, it can come as quite a surprise to most. In the stories The Most Dangerous Game and Porphyria’s Lover both of the main characters experience great twists in another’s seemingly mild personality. The authors use characterization and dialogue(in the case of Porphyria’s lover it’s more an inner monologue) to portray that people can hide their true and sometimes evil ideas or intentions behind their innocent facades. Both Richard Cornell and Robert Browning use characterization to express how the main characters aren't actually as they seem.…

The next day, we had another soccer game in the morning and I wanted to play, but, a parent on our team is a nurse and she told my mom that I needed to sit out and go to the doctor Monday because she thought I had a concussion. Monday came, and I went to the doctor and they told me I had a terrible concussion and should go to the hospital to see if my skull was cracked. In “The Most Dangerous Game” by Richard Connell, Rainsford is brave, clever, and confident. First of all, Rainsford is brave because he chooses to be hunted instead of being tortured by Ivan. He does this because he knows he is going to die more painfully if given to Ivan. Second, he is clever because Rainsford sets many types of trap, like the knife trap that killed Ivan and the Tiger bed. Rainsford is also really confident, because he is not afraid to state his opinion, like with the general when Rainsford says, “‘Thank you, I’m a hunter not a murder’”…
