You are totally right. The most common perception of conflict is associated with negative comments. Although, now I know better, I use to be in the same category of those who do associate conflicts with negative feelings. I can’t blame them because those beliefs do come from experiences. If most conflicts experienced by an individual are destructive, then of course, that particular individual will perceive conflict as negative. And again that’s why I am grateful for this course because I have learned so much about conflict management and how to prevent and make them constructive rather than destructive.
