The mosque shooting on November 24, 2017 was a horrific event. 305 people were killed due to Muslim extremists leaving a bomb in a mosque then unloading gunfire on the people as they ran out. Sufism, a strand of Islam that focuses on looking inward to find God was the religion victim to this attack. Being one of the deadliest attacks in Egypt modern history it was a tragic event to hear about. 305 people were killed, 128 injured in a town of only 800 people. This attack brings a serious effect on the community, children losing their fathers, sisters, and other family members will create anger and hate inside of them.
