So, much has happened since we’ve last spoke. I will not bore you with the simple details, but only highlight the latest with bullets.
• We are currently looking for a house to rent here in Morro Bay. As you might guess, rent is high. We found an interesting home built right on the dock on the south side of Morro Bay. Tons of history about the house and area. The living room floor had a panel of glass so you can view the seals when they feed. Seals okay, sharks not so much. The house was fun to look at, can’t beat the view, but opted for a place without moisture issues.
• Found another abode built in 1910. The vintage home has so much charm, all hardwood floors, and part of a compound. A duplex in the compound houses two college girls, and a family. The position desired was not offered to me, but the HR gal, we got along really well, offered me another position. I declined the position because the hours were too crazy for me, and I didn’t want to drive to Atascadero. The position involved working with people in “behavioral crisis.” The HR gal said she understood my reasons, but hoped that we would cross paths again in the future.
• My interview yesterday was with the Woods Humane Society in the capacity of a surgical assistant. My job history is interesting at best. I’ve worked with the developmentally delayed, penny stock company, manicurist, dental assistant, and surgical assistant. The pay isn’t great at Woods, but I really liked the female Dr. and hope she gives me a chance.
• Now we are onto Universities. I have decided on the University of Nebraska-Kearney. I can get a BS in Sociology. I might delay my entry until the next semester. The registrar’s office is amazing and
