Morrisons Financial Analysis

Morrison’s overall financial analysis presents a very good picture with their revenues and annual profits increasing year on year. The main worry is that they are struggling to grow their revenue at the same pace as its main competitor, Sainburys. Also, it faces tough competition from other big three retailers and also from the small players who are eating away its market share. Therefore, Morrison's should continue to improve its sales channels and also its business into lucrative developing markets such as China and India.
In short term, there are no concerns for the potential suppliers but in the long term, Morrisons will have to continue cutting their prices to retain its customers, and it may happen that these price cuts would be passed
