“Morning wood” or Nocturnal Penile Tumescence (NPT) is a physiological part of the body that happens often, actually more than we think. Guys often wake up with an erect penis and may not know the exact reason on why and how it happens?
Morning erections are part of regular sleep cycle, which hppens several times during sleep. On average, guys experience three to five erections every night. Since nighttime erections are not sexual, the erection is done involuntary, which happens automatically without you knowing, and is triggered by nerves.
