In the book Frankenstein by Mary Shelley, the Monster is one of the few morally ambiguous characters. The Monster is very obnoxious at time and very nonchalant at other times. Monster himself felt very self-conciseness, and felt like he was aberrant, so he wanted victor Frankenstein to make him beautiful, or to make him a female monster. During the middle of the novel is when we start to see the Monsters sympathy. But the act his does before the middle is quite unreasonable, yet the Monster seems to have good reasons First, let's start off with some of the evil deeds that the Monster does. One of the main things that’s this creature does is save a little girl from drowning in a stream, on his way to find Victor in Geneva. Only to get shot by her guardian. It takes him weeks to try and recover from his wounds. Another thing the creature does that shows sympathy is that he gathered wood for this family that he stole food from, not realizing at the time the family is unhappy, because the old man is blind and the family is in poverty and esurient. Then the monster learns to read from that family thanks to the young man Felix, teaching Safie ,an Arabian woman, to read because she does not speak the language that Felix and Agatha, his sister, do so the monster decides to sit down and learn. So, one day while all the kids are out for a walk, the creature enters the cottage introducing himself to the blind man and ask for a place of rest, the man and the creature start talking, when the kids return, Felix attacks the monster, Safie runs in terror, while Agatha faints this causes the monster to flee in
