There was many changes to the movie. In the movie, Caroline Crale was executed and hung by the rope. The play told the readers that Crale died in prison. Another change to the play was when Elsa Greer was found to be the one to kill Amyas, because Amyas was going to send her home. The movie showed Carla Lemarchant pointing a gun to Elsa Greer. Detective Justin Fogg told Carla that Elsa Greer would win if Carla would shot Elsa Greer. This ending was different because the movie was explained that they were going to convite Elsa Greer, but did hang her. He was portrayed as the detective to the solve murder of Amyas Crale. Justin Fogg was the best detective for the case. He questioned all the witnesses to the case very thoroughly and got information that was valuable to solving the case. In the movie, they changed his name to Hercule Poirot. He had the characteristic as in the play. He asked numerous in questions and got information from the witnesses as in the play.
