Fundamentals morals were given to me in the form of discipline, faith, and examples that made me realized the significance that my actions where part of me if those morals where not disobeyed. Although at times it was hard to recognize what means of goals they were placing on me I stumble at times but learn from my own personal mistakes. Today as an older individual in my mid-thirties, values along with beliefs are more center on family, achievements, job success, and happiness as these have become very important to me and my own personal ethics. The decisions made are a result that balance in my life is important to me as family values provided new goals, achievements one must have in order to have a sense that my personal views impact other members of my family. At that time the principles that my parents could give me where about respecting others, working long hours living modestly and just getting by. The results are understandable as they immigrated back in the 80’s to seek a better way of life and to provide me and my siblings with an opportunity. Even thought they could only provide me with examples of what was right and wrong I still needed that extra push to find potential in my life. The principles and rules they taught me, are laws to be followed, that we have a purpose in life by working hard and having good morality the morals taught guided me and allowed me to find a vision in aviation by seeking to challenge myself. One of the deontological morals of Immanuel Kant, is that our actions determined the will within human as he mentions. “Act only according to the maxim whereby you can at the same time will that it should become a universal law without contradiction.” (Immanuel Kant) These deontological perspective says that good comes from law consists and that our lives are based on our outcomes and duties in which we must follow.
