I will continue to make my decisions based upon bettering myself and attempting to be a morally just person. For the rest of my life, I will always be striving to live by as many good character traits as I possibly can. When it comes to my family life in the future, I hope to raise my children with the understanding that morally just traits are important things to live by. Due to the fact that most of my family believes in the same moral code as myself, I think that my children will not have a difficult time fulfilling that as well. Due to the fact that my job focuses on children instead of adults, I believe it is very important to students formulate their own moral ideals throughout their schooling. Many schools focus on character traits of the month, which I think is very important in the creation of young children’s moral ideals. Since a lot of what my moral philosophy is focuses on the development of good character traits (and riding oneself of bad ones), I feel like my career is very well suited for me. Most of what I will want to focus on with student is the understanding of what is right and wrong. My family has always given to a variety of causes (ranging from natural disaster relief to campaign funds) so I believe that I will probably do the same. In regards to raising my children, I will most likely use the authoritative parenting style. My hope is that I will set ground rules (that I expect my children to follow) but I will also have the will power to be flexible in particular situations. I aim to use consequences instead of punishments in most cases because I believe this is the best way of dealing with bad behavior and rule
