The moral issue in case study 5 was a challenging situation for me to begin with. My personal ethical decision choice turned out to be unethical or immoral compared to the text. I eventually had to change my way of thinking and view Ms. Greens dilemma the way the book would. The decision I believe is the most ethical when pertaining to Ms. Green's situation is, she should disregard Matthew's family financial situation because he was caught cheating and give him the B he deserved. Giving him a B means Matthew will not qualify for the scholarship because he needs an A and eventually he will not be able to attend college. I decided on this resolution because the other options did not seem like the moral right thing for Ms. Green to do. The other options included, Ms. Green should speak to the school administrators and see if they can help with her decision, Ms. Green can give Matthew an extra assignment to make up Matthew's grade from a B to a A or Ms. Green can just give Matthew the A so he can receive the scholarship
