Psychologists and philosophers have debated for centuries about the meaning of mortality. Morality is however a word that is very difficult to connote and construe. How can we argue about a word if we don’t even know its definition? Morality is influenced by religion, beliefs and society, so shouldn’t the definition be an idea made due to your own religion and ideas and the background in which you grew up. Many people would disagree that mortality is influenced by more things than just the good and bad of one’s action. To them murder is immoral because society label it as so, to many moral and immoral actions are based on the majority of opinions. So if 75 percent believe that sweat jobs are immoral maybe you will agree with them; 25 percent will however say that they are still getting paid so there is no big deal. You can argue that many Americans have the same morals and ideas because they grew up in this society. You would then be forgetting about the thousands of immigrants that live here and have different morals.
