Moon Shadow tells the reader about how his dad works next to golden mountain doing laundry and some of the money he makes goes back to his mother and him. Then one day his cousin comes to them and asks Moon Shadow's mother if Moon Shadow can go work with his dad to help make more money so goes to San Francisco.
Moon Shadows goes on a boat with his cousin hand clap to San Francisco but when they get to San Francisco it was not what Moonshadow expected they were nowhere near the golden mountain. So then Moon Shadow and Hald Clap left to see his father.Every one that worked with Moon Shadows father ate dinner together and for a reward for coming to San Francisco his dad Wind Rider gave him a kite.

So Wind Rider stoped and helped the man fix it. Then Wind Rider got back in his carage when Moon Shadow said that he healed the carage just like he healed the dragon king and that might be his test.
After working for a bit with the company Moon Shadow was able to deliver laundry by himself. So one day when he was delivering laundry Black Dog uncle Bright Stars son beat up Moon Shadow. When Moon Shadow was home he told the company what had happened. Then Wind Rider went to the sleepers to fight black dog to the death. Moon Shadow went with him with out Wind Rider knowing then some one attacked Moon Shadow and Wind Rider killed them so after Wind Rider and Moon Shadow had to leave the tang …show more content…
Then the tang men got upset because they had to rebuild the houses so they threatened to go work somewhere else but Wind Rider was going to leave to pass the test to become a dragon which Wind Rider thought was to fly. So he had a big fight with uncel Bright star because he didnt what Wind Rider to go but Wind Rider and Moon Shadow still went.
So Wind Rider and Moon go and live on the hill side and while Wind Rider is working on the plane Moon Shadow is doing all the other work. Then Wind Rider finally finishes the plane and calls it dragon wings. Then one day Black Dog came and threatened to kill Moon Shadow if Wind Rider did not give him the money so Wind rider gave Black Dog the money and then they did not have a any money to pay rent.
Once Wind Rider told the company they were coming back the company paid the rent for them and they all came down to watch Wind Rider fly dragon wings. So every one came and then he flew dragon wings in the air but after a few minutes he crashed but he was ok. Then when he woke up he told Moon Shadow that his test was not to fly it was to be with family so he went to the tang people and brought Moon Shadows mother to the golden
