Moon shadow is a boy his father left him and his mom to go to san francisco to earn money for them and himself.Moon shadow and his mother live in china his grandfather tried to go to san francisco but he was lynched by demons.
Moon shadow travels to san francisco and meets his dad that lives in this place called the company his father's name is windrider he makes and flies kites.
Moon shadow meets the whitlaws and is served a cookie by mrs.whitlaw they were the first demons they had meet that gave them respect and kind to them the rest will call him names and say bad things to him. moon shadow and windrider move out of the company and move in with the whitlaws because it will make it more easier for windrider to achieve his goal. moon shadow
