Moon Landing Real Essay

Was the moon landing real or fake? On July 16, 1969, Apollo 11 supposedly blasted off and landed two men on the moon. Neil Armstrong, Edwin “Buzz” Aldrin and Michael Collins were the astronauts on Apollo 11. The first theory was that the moon landing was real. According to expert, Tom Kemnitz, Armstrong reported that they landed on the moon from the rocket ship sent into space. Armstrong says, “Houston, Tranquility Base here. The Eagle has landed” from the moon to NASA this supports that the moon landing was real because an astronaut on the mission reported that they landed. This would not have happened if it was faked. There is physical and visual proof that the moon landing happened. Kemnitz says, “Man had been on the moon, photographed himself …show more content…
The moon landing took place during the Cold war and a tense point in the nuclear arms race, an era in which the two world superpowers, the United States and the Soviet Union, which is now Russia, competed for technological superiority. What better way to prove superiority than to land a person on the Moon, a place no man on earth had gone before. Some believe that because sending astronauts into outer space and onto the moon would be incredibly expensive, the U.S. didn’t have enough money to complete the project. According to the conspiracy theorists, faking the moon landings would be much cheaper if it were convincing enough, it could still send a message to Russia that the United States had the better technology. In my opinion I believe the moon landing was faked. I believe this because there is a ton of information supporting that it was faked. There is no evidence on the moon that shows the astronauts ever landed there. There is no blast carter from the rocket. Also, all the evidence brought back to earth has flaws. The shadows show more than one light source, and the backgrounds in the picture are the same indicating a backdrop and more. If the moon landing was real the evidence would not have all these flaws indicating that it never

One of the most remarkable feats of space exploration was the landing of a man on the Moon. On July 16, 1969, NASA launched its famous Saturn V rocket into orbit for a journey across the void of space to Earth’s only natural satellite. A little over a hundred hours after launch, it accomplished what many people considered impossible just a few years ago—a man from Earth walked on the lunar surface. The crew collected rock samples and performed numerous experiments, in the process greatly expanding the databases of knowledge on the Moon…

Area 51 is the holy grail of conspiracy theorists, with possibilities like the Pentagon studying flying saucers and keeping alien beings stored in water tanks. legend says that Area 51 connects by tunnel under the soil and possibly locomotives to other classified facilities in the country. Katie Couric spoke on the Today Show in 2001, that a mere 7 percent of Americans don’t believe the moon landing occurred. it’s believed that the whole event was staged somewhere in the desert terrain of Nevada. Fans of shows like “The x files” believe the truth is hidden away, likely concealed inside Area 51's classified hangars, buildings that are confirmable by sites like Google Earth even though the government doesn’t agree to acknowledge them Area 51…

Within the documentary The Truth Behind The Moon Landings, theorists claim the whole landing to have been staged with props because of the lack of technology, the multiple light sources, and lack of stars in all photo and video evidence. Many people are skeptical about the Apollo 11 landing on the moon because, in the 1960s, NASA did not have advanced enough equipment and technology. Ralph René, a self-taught engineer and author claims, “there’s absolutely no way they went to the moon with what they had, in fact, there’s no way they can go today, there’s no way they can go tomorrow. You don’t send man where you haven't sent the monkey.”…

There is no way of telling what is true or what is not. “ A fragment of Amelia Earhart’s lost aircraft has been identified to a high degree of certainty for the first time ever since her plane vanished over the Pacific Ocean on July 2, 1937.”(“Lorenzi”) There are theories that have specific evidence to whether or not these things are true. There is no telling whether or not these things really happened or are made…

The first one i’m going to talk about is the faking the apollo mission. Conspiracy writer Bill Kaysing, wrote that NASA knew that the ability to land on the moon would be impossible because of the radiation levels. This being the case they set the whole thing up. He says that the launched was staged and then when the shuttle was out of site, they would transport Buzz Aldrin and Neil Armstrong to a movie stage. After they got there they play-acted the lunar landing in front of cameras, and the phony event was then transmitted by NASA to millions of unsuspecting viewers.…

The year is 1961 and the U.S. is six years deep in a space race with the Soviet Union to show off to each other who has the best air and space capabilities. President Kennedy gives a speech saying that we will go to the moon “not because it is easy, but because it is hard” (Engle). Less than a decade later, on July 20th, 1969 at 20:17:40 UTC, the Apollo 13 mission put Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin on the moon (“Theories”). Ever since that day the people have doubted the fact that we ever put people on the moon. An opinion poll found six percent of American believed the U.S. did not go to the moon, with it jumping to 20% after Fox released the 2001 documentary: Conspiracy Theory: Did We Land on the Moon?…

Many people argue whether aliens are real or not, the Roswell incident proves it all. The Roswell incident happened during 1937 to a sheep farmer's house , Mac Brazel. All of the witnesses say it was a UFO crash. When the air force came to investigate the incident they changed up the crash remains by that of a weather balloon to trick the world to think it was a weather balloon. Apollo 11 discovered that the moon is lifeless; containing no living organisms, fossils, or native organic compounds (SNASM). Extensive research and testing revealed no proof for life, past or present, to be found in the lunar samples. Because of the idea of aliens inhabiting the lunar land, a plaque was attached to the leg of the lunar landing vehicle that read “ HERE MEN FROM THE PLANET EARTH FIRST STEP FOOT UPON THE MOON JULY 1969 A.D. WE CAME IN PEACE FOR ALL MANKIND” (SNASM). This plaque was signed by former president Richard Nixon along with all three astronauts that took part in the lunar landing mission.…

The area I am talking about is that we brought pieces of the moon back with us, rocks that would be nearly impossible to replicate here on earth and would actually be easier to gather by traveling to the moon and bringing them back with us. These rocks are laden with tiny holes from meteoroid impacts that are only possible on a planet with little to no atmosphere. Also, if examined, one would find isotopes that are the result of reactions with highly charged particles that could, again, only happen on a planet with little to no atmosphere. Another piece of evidence that implies a moon landing is the size of the team; at its peak, the size of the team that landed man on the moon was over 300,000. You would think after 45 years someone would have come forward with the supposed…

I believe that the landing of the moon was fake because of some very good reason. First, why I think the moon landing was fake because in EVERY video or clip of Neil Armstrong walking on “The Moon” the background or in this case Space it appears to be nothing just a black surface. From a site that supplies facts that are factual it states “You will see the difference. The stars are very faint and get washed out by the bright light of the moon. The reason why no or very little stars can be seen is because of the Earth.…

The one reason that the waving flag, when you look at the photo of Neil on the moon, the flag does know that it 's moving and that is a little odd since there is no atmosphere out there, that is a huge head scratcher just because if they were really on the moon why is it moving. Another reason why I agree with it being a conspiracy is because the claim has it that if they landed on the moon that the crater would be so much deeper and larger than it really is. In the photo, it is not really even visible or ever look like it was moved. Of the 10 reasons that I saw, reading into them really makes me think that maybe the moon landing never really happened. The claims that are being said really make sense, especially if you look at the photos being shown; you see exactly what thousands of others see.…

On September 12, 1962, president john F Kennedy delivered his “why we chose to go to the moon” speech at Rice University in Houston, Texas. The occasion of the speech was to address to the American people the importance of returning to space and being the first nation to place a man on the surface of the moon. Kennedy chose this time to deliver his speech because we were currently at the height of the cold war and the United States was beginning to lose the space and technological race against the Russian nation. Therefore Kennedy appeared at Rice University where he delivered his speech to a crowd that consisted of scientists, professors, students, and the general American people. The context that shaped Kennedys’ speech was the importance of mankind to achieve the near impossible feat of landing a human being on the surface of the moon and the profound impact that this accomplishment would have on the future of the human race.…
