Moon Landing Hoax If you’ve got a friend and she reveals to you that she believes the moon landing was faked and we, as the human race, have never made it to outer space, do not be surprised. Many other people in the world probably also have friends who harbor this weird belief as well. The fact is that millions of Americans today (as well as other people in the world) believe that the moon landing was a hoax. Although that number seems rather large, it is nothing compared to the number that does believe the U.S landed on the moon. It is crucial that people understand that the moon landing was no hoax, and did actually take place in history. It was a huge achievement made by the U.S and

EDT engines fire and the Apollo 11 is launched into Earth’s orbit. After the Apollo 11 is given the “go”, they head towards the moon and three days later are in lunar orbit. A day after they enter the Moons orbit it’s time for Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin to start descending to the moon’s surface. At exactly 4:18 p.m. EDT, the lunar module lands. They announce that they have landed and about 6 hours later are ready to step out onto the moon. At exactly 10:56 p.m. EDT Armstrong and Aldrin are prepared. While being filmed live on national television, Armstrong climbs down the ladder with his famous quote, “That’s one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind.” (qtd. in One Giant Leap For Mankind). Aldrin shortly climbs down after him and they start to explore the surface of the moon for two and a half hours. They take photographs, collect samples of dust, rocks etc. When they’re ready to go back to Earth, they leave behind an American flag, a plaque on one of the lunar modules legs which reads, “Here men from the planet Earth first set foot upon the moon, July 1969 A.D. We came in peace for all mankind.” (qtd. in One Giant Leap For Mankind), and a patch to honor the fallen Apollo 1

One of the most remarkable feats of space exploration was the landing of a man on the Moon. On July 16, 1969, NASA launched its famous Saturn V rocket into orbit for a journey across the void of space to Earth’s only natural satellite. A little over a hundred hours after launch, it accomplished what many people considered impossible just a few years ago—a man from Earth walked on the lunar surface. The crew collected rock samples and performed numerous experiments, in the process greatly expanding the databases of knowledge on the Moon…

Despite the hordes of mechanical problems faced in the aftermath of the disaster, both the astronauts and Mission Control were determined to overcome them all. With remarkable brilliance, the scientists at NASA came up with ingenious strategies that saved the lives of the Apollo 13 crew. This story inspires me because it is a tale of people who believed that even the most dire of situations can be conquered if you can work hard and find a creative solution. NASA saw it the same way. Although Apollo 13 never landed on the moon, NASA’s intelligence and nerve was tested by this trial--and they passed the test with flying colors.…

The numerous amounts of companies that supported spending huge quantity of money argued by Fraser Cain on Universe today claiming “According to them, they spent $24 billion, which is more than $150 billion in inflation adjusted dollars. Their so-called “Apollo” program allegedly employed 400,000 people, supported by more than 20,000 companies and research institutions” (How Do We Know the Moon Landing Isn’t Fake?). Not many people would go to the extreme to try and fake all their supporters if being supported as Nasa and Apollo 11 was in 1969 to prep for the moon landing. Although there are people who can decide to go that far and if not make up a fake story to try and make them more popular and ear money from what people may want to hear: Moon Landing Hoax. Cain continues to show where it basically where the fallacies had been started, “More than 10 years ago, Fox popularized the Moon landing conspiracy with a show called “Did We Land On The Moon?”.…

Moon Landing Hoax Anyone that was alive in 1969 are often asked where they were during the first moon landing and for those people, it is terrifying to think that the things we recognize as historical, groundbreaking events could have been planned or staged by the government. The Apollo 11 moon landing was viewed by 600 million people who were amazed by it at the time. America had beat Russia in the race to the moon! Although, modern technology has been able to take a closer look at all of the details that do not quite add up. Therefore, some people believe the first American moon landing was staged as a tactic to beat the Soviet Union in the space race.…

Moon landing conspiracy theories claim that foundations of the Apollo program and the connected Moon landings were complete frauds staged by NASA. The most famous claim is that landings (1969–72) were faked and that 12 Apollo astronauts did not actually walk on the Moon. Numerous groups and individuals have made these accusations since the mid-1970s, that NASA and others intentionally deceived the public into believing the landings happened, by manufacturing or destroying evidence including photos, telemetry tapes, radio and TV transmissions and Moon rock samples. Conspiracists have managed to endure public interest in their theories for more than 40 years, regardless of the denials and third-party evidence. Hundreds…

The one reason that the waving flag, when you look at the photo of Neil on the moon, the flag does know that it 's moving and that is a little odd since there is no atmosphere out there, that is a huge head scratcher just because if they were really on the moon why is it moving. Another reason why I agree with it being a conspiracy is because the claim has it that if they landed on the moon that the crater would be so much deeper and larger than it really is. In the photo, it is not really even visible or ever look like it was moved. Of the 10 reasons that I saw, reading into them really makes me think that maybe the moon landing never really happened. The claims that are being said really make sense, especially if you look at the photos being shown; you see exactly what thousands of others see.…
