Did man really go to the moon? This is a question that people are trying to figure out. Some people believe the moon landings were faked, some people believe that man did walk on the moon. People have been trying to analyze data and research to figure this out. Back in the 1960’s Russia and the US were in a “race” to see who could get to the moon first. Countries wanted to go to the moon because they could have more power if they had the advantage of going to the moon. Countries could use this advantage to maybe put a military base on the moon, or have a better shot of attacking their enemies.

I don’t think 400,000 people would be able to keep as big of a secret as not going to the moon. At least 1 person would have slipped that it was all faked and then that secret would have spread and more people would have found out. Also the building of the rocket took 10 years, and a lot of money. I believe that the government and NASA wouldn’t have hired all of those people and took that much time to build a rocket that was all for a fake mission.
In 2006, NASA took pictures of the moon’s surface and saw the lunar buggy tracks from the first mission. If scientists have proof that the lunar buggy was on the moon, then that leaves me to believe that the moon landing was real. Some people say that it could've been something else that left tracks on the moon. If we were the first people to go the moon, then what could it have been? It could have only been the lunar buggy. Also Japan also saw the tracks of the lunar buggy, so if they didn’t see them then they would have said something about it, because they also wanted to get to the
