I helped them pay for the car with the money I had earned that summer while working at the Shedd Aquarium. Even though the car was ten years old, I was not concerned with being able to do the maintenance. The primary thing that needed to be serviced, due to the mileage of the car, was the supercharger which needs to have its oil changed in order to maintain its longevity. I woke up sore beyond belief, and I noticed scrapes and bruises that I had ignored the day before. Still determined to get work done, I trudged out to the garage and surveyed the state of the car.
