This is not the first time incidents such as this have happened. A similar incident happened in 1966-1967 involving what was thought to be a UFO but later came out that (as explained by the Air Force and media) nothing more than aircraft was detected upon investigation. Mainstream media essentially refused to include information on the UFO in its publications. The media actually presents two different perspectives for reality: official and folk. While UFOs are often excluded from media due to their believed lack of scientific evidence, there is actually a vast amount of evidence on UFOs and encounters (at the J. The armed forced had feared that it might’ve been remains from Russian spy craft which was why they were hesitant to share the news with the public. (Roswell and the Mysterious Project Mogul) Although it sounds logical that the debris found were just remains of a balloon used for espionage, it does not make sense that the military would nervously participate in practices such as making dummies and throw them off planes. Sources stated that the dummies were very similar to extraterrestrial beings and that they indeed just looked like actual aliens falling from the sky. People assumed that these creatures were being hunted down by the military, and then they were being kidnapped for further research.…

I had always been fascinated by modern mysteries and conspiracy theories, but before this class, I had no clue what to accept and how to analyze the information that I was presented to me. I chose the topic of the Moon Landing, because it enabled me to take a second look at the conspiracy theory through a new lens of experience. To understand where this idea of a hoax originates, we need to understand what was going on before the Apollo 11 moon landing. Starting in the 1950s, America was in a cold war with Soviet Russia, which was less of a physical battle and more of a challenge of who had a better structured government. It was a challenge of superiority that eventually led to the space race in 1955.…

Conspiracy Theory Essay The conspiracy that I decided to do is back on July 20, 1969, Neil Armstrong becoming the first man to walk on the moon was actually a hoax set up by NASA. In photographs, it looks to be seen that the American flag is blowing in the breeze even though there is no atmosphere along with the shadows do not match up. Where Apollo 11 landed, there also is no crater, there are too many light sources and the Van Allen radiation belt should have cooked the astronauts, unexplained objects, slow motion walking, and the hidden cables, lack of starts the “c” rock and the backdrop photo. Lots of people believe that the moon landing never happened and that it was the US government asset to their victory over Russia in…

The Moon Landing Conspiracy On July 20, 1969, the United States supposedly landed on the moon. Millions of people believe this, but millions don’t. Millions of people believe that the Apollo 11 mission successfully landed on the moon, and that Neil Armstrong was the first human to step on the moon, followed by Buzz Aldrin. Millions of people believe that this is a hoax, to win the “space race” of the 1960’s.…
