The teleplay “The Monsters Are Due on Maple Street” by Rod Serling, is both similar and different than the TV episode aired March 4, 1960, which has the same name as the teleplay. They are the same because they both have the same characters, such as Charlie, Sally, Tommy, Les, and Pete. The setting was also the same, taking place on Maple Street, which happened to be in “The Twilight Zone”. The plot stayed the same with very few to no changes, pretty much everything that happened in the teleplay also happened in the TV episode.
