Monsters: A Fictional Narrative

Two tremendous roars resounded through the air for miles. Both were a war cry, a declaration of the other’s defeat. Two beasts, titans of unimaginable power, were fighting for their lives. Armageddon had reached Tokyo. Those who were unlucky enough to not escape could only watch in horror as the monsters charged tremendous amounts of energy into their maws. Two beams, one red the other blue, collide with the force of gods.

The collision of power exploded outward and quickly obliterated anything within a several hundred meter radius. In the aftermath, the two giants snarled towards one another. Almost immediately, two crystal pillars erupted from the ground and slammed into one of the beasts, impaling him and sending him hurtling to the ground. He glared towards his opponent, knowing it was his doing. Both were exhausted and near death. The climax was approaching.

“SKREEEEOOONG!” with a herculean amount of willpower and a defiant roar, the impaled creature slowly rises to his feet. Godzilla, King of the Monsters, was dead. The victor, SpaceGodzilla, roared with glee. Yes he was critically injured as well with his right crystal shattered and his left having a deep gash, but he had done it! He finally destroyed the one creature that could oppose his might! This world was his at last. SpaceGodzilla then lowers his gaze to his counterpart. He hated Godzilla, yet he still shared a degree of respect for his sheer tenacity and strength. SpaceGodzilla only felt it fitting to give the King a proper burial, however that would have to wait until he recovered his strength. His crystals can regenerate, but the shattered one will definitely take
