Per definition, a religion is the credence in a deity or controlling power. Within some religions, we would notice certain patterns and rituals; moreover, these rituals promote faith, dogma and worship. From the previous statement, we will imply the major similarities between Judaism, Islam and Christianity. We can list many homogeneity, and the most important one of all is that they are monotheistic religions. Subsequently, we have to take into consideration that all three religions are derived from the same family by such, we are speaking of Abraham and his sons Ishmael and Isaac – which is why Abraham is also known as the founding father of the Covenant.
