Uncle Jewir came to Salva and he brought a rifle so he will kill an animal or protect salva with the a rifle. Know he had bring more food to the camp and salva didn't felt lonely anymore and hungry. Uncle Jewiir told Salva are going to cross a big river and it will last two days. When they got in the river they built canoes and go and find an island with crops they can eat. Salva saw that marial she was right and she died by a lion when they were sleeping. But in the island at night Mosquitos came and bite Salva.

In text to world Salva and his group are having lack of water and Brazil are having a huge water crisis. It the same because there dying of thirst. Also they are dying of disease like in the book people were throwing up by
