I will never forget the day that Judge Taylor appointed me the case of Tom Robinson, I knew that my life would soon change. I am Atticus Finch, a lawyer and a father of two children their names are Jem and Scout Finch. My kids and I live in Maycomb Alabama, in a house with 4 people our maid Calpurnia, the children, and I; their mother passed away many years ago when Scout was only two.
Every Summer my kids friend, Dill Harris comes to stay in Maycomb with his aunt who is our next door neighbor.
