Simon watched his father hug his mother, his brother, and finally him. He didn’t quite understand what quite was happening, just that his father was leaving. “I love you all.” His father said, “I’ll be back soon, then we’ll all be together again, eh?” Simon believed his father, but then, why was mother crying? Father would be back, he wouldn’t lie to them, of course not. Simon’s hoping and praying sadly failed however.
