Monologue Of Romeo And Juliet

As I entered the ballroom I only had one objective in mind, kill everyone and kill everything. All of the sudden I heard ignorant shouting from the pompous Prince Prospero. “Who dares!” he shouted, “seize him and unmask him” he ordered to his courtiers. No one budged, everyone stood in frozen with utter fear of me. Prince Prospero enraged by the fact that no one listened to him and infuriated by how much he had just sounded like a coward, started to take after me. I charged toward knowing with complete certainty I would wipe him from this world with ease. A searing pain pulsated through my entire body. A candle from one of the chandeliers above had fallen on to me. I was hoping Prince Prospero did not notice it, but my worst fears were confirmed

This line said in Juliet's monologue could be interpreted as "Oh, Romeo, Romeo, where is Romeo?" by directly summarizing, but in context in the play, which becomes apparent with analyzing and synthesizing, it's translated to "Oh, Romeo, Romeo, why do you have to be Romeo?" This also evidently proves how the Shakespeare sharpens many skills used by high schoolers on a daily basis, based on how most lines will require them to use and practice these skills when reading the…

Romeo and Juliet is one of the most popular tragedies of all time. The author, Lois Kerschen, analyzed the text more thoroughly in her critical essay on Romeo and Juliet and concluded that they are doomed due to their own character flaws. Kerschen used rhetorical strategies in her argument like the appeal to authority, logos, and transition words. However, she did not include enough information to support her claim. In her argument, Lois began with a very strong hook and then stated her claim.…

There are many people you could blame for the tragedy of Romeo and Juliet, but one might also say the two households are responsible for the tragedy of Romeo and Juliet. An example of how the capulets play a part in this is when lady capulet says “Marry that ‘marry’ is the very theme I came to talk of. Tell me, daughter Juliet, how stands your disposition to get married”(Line fourteen, Act one Scene three, and Document B), the person one would blame in this quote would be the families(Capulet). This shows Lady Capulet is trying to pressure Juliet into getting married. Even after juliet says that she does not want to get married, her mother keeps pushing her into getting married by asking if she can “like of Paris’ love”( Line twenty four, Act…

Sometime during the Ball the Prince went off like always to dance with some lucky maids, while I stood on the sidelines and took watch. I was very tired that night, being that I had just returned from a battle. At the end of the night we left together, like always, through the back door and out the abandoned alley. Something was different than usual, our other guards weren’t there. It was too late when I found their unconscious bodies heaped around the corner.…

In Moderation Love and hate are two of the most, if not the most, powerful emotions. That wonderful, light feeling in one’s heart can make a person lose control over their actions. Yet dark hatred can lead to even worse. Such intense contradiction is made clear in William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. Shakespeare’s use of binaries reveals that humans should find moderation between love and hate.…

Attempting to outrun the beast I locked myself within a chamber, hearing the howling of the giant and charging against the door. I had prepared to succumb to my fate, perhaps this was my consequence for acting out what my nature allowed. The decision that I found to be particularly hasty was Romeo's decision to commit suicide. I believe that this decision was impulsive and fueled by Romeo's emotions. It lead to not only his death but his lover Juliet as well. If Romeo had been more thoughtful instead of letting his grief and desperate thoughts overwhelm him, he could of created a different ending for the play, one not as tragic. Before Romeo made such a decision, he had been waiting for Friar Lawrence in Mantua to send him news of the uplifting sorts when Balthazar had told him that Juliet had died.…

An Analysis of Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet Friar Laurence can be blamed for Romeo’s and Juliet’s death because he makes the decision to get them married even though he knows that their parents would not approve that. First, Friar Laurence helps Romeo to make this marriage possible. Then, Friar Laurens was the one that that encouraged Romeo more and more to do this thing even though it is wrong.
