Hello I am Lorenzo auditora I am 16 year old boy I am coming from Italy. I was born of a rich man and my mother had died when I was born. My father never really cared about me. He did take care of me though at least I have that to be thankful for. My fathers best friend had said that he had lost all hope when my mother died. We had a big argument three days ago and I didn't want to stay with him. So I decided to leave to go to this place called Ellis island I didn't think it was true but hey it was the united states of America. I have been walking for twenty four hours straight. I like walking but I don't like this kind. I haven't got any sleep at all and im exhausted. I asked a man that was on the road about how close I was

But that was about two hours ago so twenty two to go. I had to stop to go to sleep. When I woke up I was roaring and ready to go. I started sprinting about an hour later because I saw the steme boat that had a sign that said “ to Ellis island.” I was so happy I cried. I got on the steme boat and they charged 10 dollars and I only had 7 so the man who was taking the toll said go the the back and ask I couldn't beg its not right but then a lady behind me had put together 3 dollars for me and gave It to the man. I had told her no but she insisted. I waited for her to pay and when she got on the boat I thanked her greatly. She said it was nothing and went to get settled in. I went to my room and got settled immediately I went outside to see the people that were watching us leave there were some who didn't get to go because the walked there families and some couldn't. I found the deck and stood there wondering why nobody was out there at the time but then realized nobody was sup post to go out there. There was a crew member and screamed at me and told me to go back to my bunk. About two weeks later I was thinking that the ride was never going to end.
