Monologue: Hefty Man

My monologue tells the story of a nerdy loser who pretends to be a superhero called Hefty man who has a confrontation with an evil gang of bullies called the Cold shoulder crew. I quite enjoyed the quirkiness of hefty man as well as the low social status in which he held. I also felt from my past performances and characters that this is one that I would enjoy doing. Hefty man is an insecure loser who is constantly bullied by the cold shoulder crew. So, I was intrigued by the idea, that he uses an alternate persona “Hefty man” in order to give himself more confidence and superiority. In the monologue, I will have a very dynamic confidence and power levels. In the beginning of the monologue I will be weak, scared and insecure. I will then become
