Death POV: It's been a long awhile since Rudy has died from the huge bombing. Rudy finally got his kiss the one he always wanted from the book Thief (Liesel). But for Liesel she lost something special that she thought she would never need. Now I have Rudy in my hands and taking him to where he will be living for ever in the dark. But I will take Liesel soon so Rudy will see the Book thief and I will finally have her in my hands.

Rudy POV: “I hear Liesel calling RUDY! RUDY! Where are you?” “Rudy are you ok!?” Was it Liesel that I was hearing? I want to tell her I love her and maybe she will give me that kiss before I die. I tried to speak Liesel I Lo….. It's dark and cold I feel like something is carrying me away. It's my body feels cold. When I opened my eyes. I seen death and death takes me to this dark cold place where I will always be until the day I get to see Liesel again. I will always love her and miss her beautiful blond hair and brown eyes and her wonderful smile and kind heart. One day I will get to kiss her back. I will wait for her.

He did not kiss me back. I finally kissed Rudy for the first and last time. “Please come back,” I said to Rudy. I was crying tears of sadness. I never have cried that much before. First I lose Mama and Papa then I lose Rudy my best friend and my first love. I get up and see this image of something? It looks like the mayor and his wife walking around in sadness from all the death around them. The mayor and his wife were staring at me and I got up and started to walking towards them I then picked up my pace and I started running into the mayor’s wife’s arms and crying. She tells me it will be okay and that they will care for me. I think to myself it will never be okay again as I will miss Rudy, Papa and
