EPILOGUE
HAPPINESS TURNES SOUR

“Come in, the bathroom.” She yelled. “What’s wrong, Crystal?” I screamed, out of breath, making it, to the top of the stairs.
“I’m pregnant!” she said, with this huge smile, on her face.
“I hope it’s Fred’s. They had been, kicking it real sturdy, for the past couple of months, so he has to be the father.” I thought, to myself.
“Congratulations sissy! Yes, I get to be an aunt!” I screamed and wanted to hug her, but she was still sitting on the toilet.
“So, is this Fred baby?” I asked, to confirm my thought, like always.

Something, always pops up and get me busy, so hey, I take that as a sign. I walked in my room and guess who, was in my darn bed, like it was their own? Yes, you guessed right Derrick. He is so damn sexy, with that chocolate smooth creamy skin, and waved up hair. I climbed in, bed and popped, him on his back waking him up.
“Damn, girl you know you, heavy handed.” He said, rolling over and I couldn’t help but to bite down on my bottom lip from his sexiness.
“Shut up and take the pain.” I said, laughing at his moped up face. He grabbed me and pulled me up, on top of him and I could feel, the print of his man hood, pressing against my deep blue. I guess saying; good morning. Yes, that’s when you know, it’s getting to real for you. I rolled right back off, of him to my side of the bed.
“Get out my room, Derrick.” I said, playfully.
“Girl, stop, running and fighting it, like you don’t, want him. You nurse a brother back to health and you give me, a room at your house.” He said, laughing like something was

We are great just being friends.” I said, trying to keep my cool, because, this subject just do something to me. I also think, if he wouldn’t have, done what he done, then we would still be together. He lucky I allowed our friendship to continue.
“Your right Ash. Can’t argue, with you on that.” He said, I guess seeing how my mood had changed. I got up, handled my hygiene, and got dressed for the day. I had things to do and people to see. After, I got dressed, I headed downstairs, to start making breakfast. As soon as, the food was done, Crystal and Derrick showed up, in the kitchen. Like they had been, watching me from somewhere, as I cooked because they were on point. We all sat, at the table, prayed, ate, laughed, and conversed, like old times. After, getting fat, full I had to go to, meetings and check on my money. I pulled up at my house, around seven o clock. Took a bath, smoked an L, ate a sub sandwich I hooked up, and then laid it down. I had one, of the greatest meetings, to awaken to,

Cradling her beloved daughter in her arms that had just fallen 12 feet from a branch on the swaying willow, she called for a doctor. My eyes watch my fingertips dance across my phone and I hit send to my friend, Abigail, telling her I'm leaving shortly.
