Monkeys Paw Compare And Contrast

I am going to compare and contrast the play and story of the monkey's paw. I liked both even though i may have likes imagining the story, or watching the play not having to imagine i liked bot.     To start with i liked the book a lot i felt like i got to imagiam more. I got to picture in my head what the setting was like what the characters were like. There was a lot more details in the book then there were in the play. Even if the play did not get all the details that the book had it was pretty good. But, surprisingly the setting of the play looked very similar to that i imagined when I was reading the book. Hence, the book had more settings like the bedroom and stair case, but for the play it was excellent.     In a like manner I felt that the theme was the same in the play they got the theme out through it i found defendant ley tell that the theme was don't wish because what you have right now you should not take for granted it is pretty good. …show more content…
 So, I felt like they really were the same and that's a good thing.    On the other hand, the plot in the play to me went way faster than the story did. They would not be able to act everything out that was in the book. Or else it would take way longer and it would be kind of hard to act up every detail. I mean they did a phenomenal job but if it did not read the story I would not understand
