In the story and play Monkey's Paw here are some differences and sames about it. In the story monkeys paw there was a military man that brought the paw to the family to explain the terrible story being the cursed paw but in the play it was the man's wife because something terrible happened to the her husband which was the man. In the story the man practically said that death may apply with the using of the paw and in the play the women just says she would rather them not use that paw. In both of the stories they both had that their son hubert died from getting sucked into the mill also they both had that was that there were 3 men that could wish 3 times and 2 men already wished and died and when Mr. White said his first wish he wished for 200
