Mona Patel: My Personal Hero

I choose Mona Patel to be the winner because I thought her story and impact stood out the most among the rest of the nominees. Unlike some of the others, Patel has a powerful story to explain why she has decided to help amputees. It's clear that her work has had and continues to have a positive effect on those who have lost limbs. For example, in the video we see how she is able to lift the spirits of amputees by just talking to them, but we know that her foundation does much more. I found her presentation of what she does more powerful than the others which makes me believe that she makes more of a profound impact than the other nominees.
