I doubled over as the intensity of my hunger overtook me. I reached, with trembling hands, into the extra suitcase. Withdrawing a book, I took out my favorite straw. I quickly ripped into the book, not worrying about the ink that spilled from my lips or the idea of one of my roommates walking in and seeing me. When I finished draining the book of all the appetizing ink, I threw the book back into the suitcase and wiped the dripping ink from my mouth. I
