Decent Essays

There were many reasons why I moved weather it was for more money or just a better place to live. Moving was never fun, but I was very young, so it never really affected me because I was too young to understand how it should affect me. I spent three years in South Beloit and me would say they were not bad times, but also they were not a good time either. My mom was with a man name John and he was a decent man, but not a good one, there were many

I went to polo for only a few weeks and then I ended up going to my aunt 's house in North Brook and going to high school there, by this time I stopped caring about school and was not in any mood to waste my time in a school where I probably wouldn’t be there for that long so the drive I use to have was gone at this point. At this time my mom and stepdad were scrambling to find a house so that I could finish high school and all our patients were wearing thin so this were very intense for us. Freshman and sophomore year were easy and fun, but junior year was a different story. I had never studied so I was extremely unprepared for my junior year. It was the year with the most work, not so much difficult work, but there was always an assignment due. With the help of the Boomers I made it through with a good GPA. My senior year was chaos because of all the college prep and graduation.…

From elementary school, middle school, and part of high school I had always been the kid that was so quiet. Certainly, I was comfortable around my family but being around strangers made me nervous and scared. Throughout my school years, not including high school, I probably only made three friends. As I grew older things started to change and it was not until I landed my first job that I began to be social. Even though I was a shy person throughout most of my life and I had no work experience, my first job led me to discover a personality I never thought I would uncover.…

This summer my school announced that the building which we had been using had fire code violations and we could not return to our building in the fall. Throughout the summer my school did not have a building and did not find one until a few weeks after school started. By that time I had already taken a decision to, once again, leave my home and join yet another family. What I realized on my first day at Josephinum Academy, was that my shyness had not tagged along and I was eager to go to school. The nauseous feeling had left my stomach and enthusiasm had entered.…

I always had something to do during and after school. It didn’t help that my mom was try only parent who could help me on it. Almost everyone will meet, or has met someone in college that has significantly changed their lives. For me, it didn't take long at all for me to meet that person. I met her on our second day of college of our first semester, basically my second day of my entire college career. I didn't realize it right away, but over time I noticed that she was really changing my life. I would have never met this person in high school because first of all she lives in a different town, but even if we did live in the same town, or even went to the same high school, I still would have never known her because I didn't really branch out and make a lot of friends back then.…
