I was changing my daughter's clothes when said that she wanted to get a shirt on. Suddenly she grabbed her boobs and said "no mommy, monkey eat my boobies!" I said "what?!?!" She was serious and said "no mommy, monkey eat my boobies!" I was so confused and asked her where she heard that. She said "me" and pointed to herself. I said "but who told you that? That's not going to happen. Did you dream that?" She says again "no mommy, monkey eat my boobies!" At this point, I am legitimately concerned. This back and forth went on for a while, until I realized that she didn't want me to put her shirt on because she needed to "breastfeed" her monkey before nap time. Instead of putting him in “tighty whities” as some may call them, I thought why not put him in boxers? Biggest mistake ever! Only stories of very important women such as Abagail Adams, Mercy Otis Warren, and Martha Washington was slightly mentioned in Visions of America while Revolutionary Mothers tells of many personal stories of women who were not considered very important to the outcome of the American Revolution. It also tells about many other situations concerning women during the American Revolution such as ownership of property, boycotts, war crimes, etc. I believe Revolutionary Mothers enhanced my learning experience because it was specifically focused on the women during the Revolution as opposed to Visions of America which talked about the most important events that happened in the war, so I was able to better understand the struggles that women went through…

Responding to a narrative response Numerous individuals need help or have helped somebody, the most affecting way I have helped somebody was helping my mom while she was pregnant. I generally helped her with my three year old sister Kaitlynn, I tackled the protective obligations so my mother could unwind, and after my mother had my sibling Colton I generally helped her with both of the children. Being pregnant and having another little rascal to look after can be extremely stressful and hard. I would always help my mom out and take kaitlynn off of her hands. It would be little things like taking Kaitlynn out to the park to play or just hanging out with her so my mom could get a quick nap in.…

The first developmental issue I would love to address is emotional support, and the person I am applying to is Beatrice. Emotional support means the capacity to acknowledge and share feelings that are being experienced with another person especially a close friend or a family member. For instance, Beatrice does not have her husband, parents, and two brothers due to the fact that they were murdered because of the fight between Hutu and Tutsi militias. Not only that, but Beatrice’s daughter-in-law Ninette also lost abundance of family members including her mother, sisters, and one nephew. So, without a doubt I believe Beatrice’s lacked of emotional support demonstrates the developmental issue I described above which is emotional support.…
