A series of training information and staff objectives will be developed into a handbook for Molly Malone’s St. Matthews. The training manual will be used to target new employees and as reference for current employees. Molly Malone’s St. Matthews has never had an official handbook that provides new hires the information of staff responsibilities, food and drink menu items, management expectations, dress code, code of conduct, company culture, or where to obtain daily information regarding entertainment or specials. The handbook will enhance Molly Malone’s company culture, increase effective communication, and facilitate a standard of training to ensure each employee has the essential tools to be successful. The handbooks will be given to each employee at Molly Malone’s and will be asked to review the material within the handbook. The employees will be asked if they believe the handbook is useful and if it provided them with any unknown information. Customer reviews will also be examined in order to calculate the success of the handbook, if there is a spike in customer reviews then the handbooks will be seen as useful. The employee turnover rate will also be calculated after the handbooks are administered, if the employee turnover rate decreases after the introduction of the handbook it will be seen a successful.
