I'll begin by telling you a little bit about myself. I’m a 17 year old girl with a gigantic Mexican family and I can’t speak Spanish to save my life. I’m a person who has been obsessed with learning about animals since I can remember. I’m a television fanatic that loves The Vampire Diaries, The Walking Dead, and Breaking Bad. I’m a huge Marvel geek and I’m obsessed with the 1990’s and 2000’s R&B, Hip-Hop, and Rap era. Now enough about my personal life and let’s begin with evaluating two completely different students. Now my definition of a Modest Living means that I will be able to take care of myself and give back not only to my parents, but all the people who have helped me and instilled in me a sense of purpose and drive to overcome the odds. Living in a home where finances has always caused stress and discomfort has allowed me to become aware of how lucky I am. I will be forever grateful to have a roof over my head, food on the table and many other basic needs. Not only has this helped me become mature and aware of what actually possesses value in life. But it has also made me become a humble individual. Not many individuals in this world can say that they are comfortable if they do not possess luxurious objects which shows a negligent flaw in what holds value in my society. It has become socially accepted and become normal for individuals to care only about themselves and that is ruining future generations with conformity slipping in under the rug. Nobody wants to speak about the truth because they fear hearing the truth because it highlights what an individual’s character substance is and nobody wants that. To earn a modest living would mean that I would be able to provide myself and provide others which has become a lost art in recent years, now it’s time to revive it and keep
