In my opinion in the tattoo industry with in the last four hundred plus year the technology has grown for the best. Yes, in some traditions I would still believe the past traditional methods are the best way to achieve the look that is trying to be gained. On another note, I do agree the sanitary issues come along with the technology difference from the past versus modern day. While deciding between getting a modern day tattoo and receiving a traditional tattoo, you have to think about the factors such as the pain rate, the health issues that have been proven, along with the healing period of time needed.
