Contemporary slavery or modern day slavery consists of sex slavery/trade, early forced marriages, child labor, and more. Women and girls have the greater risk of being trafficked because women usually get lured in by false promises from the attacker, victims get drugged, or they get into the sex trade business or prostitution to pay off their debt from something.
