Although awareness is growing, the problem is not getting better and many people do not realize how seriously it needs to be taken. The movie, Sold, gives insight into one girl’s experience of being trapped in modern day slavery. Through personal tactics of coping with the torture, this young girl found herself in a whole new world. Being forced into sexual acts requires immense amounts of mental and emotional strength.
