Slavery is a thing that has been affecting people dating back to over ten to thousands of years ago. People have been using the art of exploiting each other for a long period of time. An example of this would be human slavery in the United States of America when Europeans took African Americans away from their homeland Africa and brung them to the United States of America so they can perform hard labors for no pay. Even though that type of slavery is not as prevalent as it used to be around the world anymore, there is a new type of modernized slavery that is affecting many people. The global ministries ranks Japan as one of the top five candidates in the whole world that is heavily affected by the acts of human trafficking. Japan has been a major destination for human trafficking begging in the early 1970s and has continued to pick up momentum ever since.
