My idea of a perfect day would run ever so smoothly, and joyfully. I would begin the day with the most enjoyable thing to sustain me throughout the long-lasting hours, followed by relaxation. Although, you must not forget a speck of excitement. If I could do all of my favorite things in the limited amount of time you have during 24-hours, I would be bubbling with merry smiles and cheer. To start off the day I would first be going to Mass. I cannot yet receive Jesus in the Eucharist, but it is so exciting to at least be able to visit him. Even if he is in the tabernacle, and even if I cannot take communion, there is something special about visiting the presence of Jesus, truly and wholly. Preferably, I would attend a Traditional Latin Mass. I believe that Tradition is very important and should be kept alive, not just visited once in a blue moon! Tradition is beautiful; such a joyous day must begin with beauty. After Mass, I would imagine myself going home and studying scripture. Scripture is a great way to understand the teachings of the Church. Studying scripture also helps prepare us for spiritual warfare. If someone who is struggling with their faith, we may know the exact verse to pick them up again. Not to mention, if we are in despair, we can be directed to the right passage to regain our strength. …show more content…
Choosing any place to dine to my liking, I would attend a gathering for tea at the Meux Home Museum. I am absolutely in love with everything from the Victorian and Edwardian period of history. If only I could have been born in that wonderful, rich era of culture. Even my Mother says that I was born in the wrong century! I second that statement. Arriving at the Meux Home in an authentic habit, we would be seated inside the home… Having tea in the dining room! It would be just like we were transported back in

Because of my experience, I learned something very important: experience is a good way to learn something. Prior to actually attending the Mass, I had only heard bad things about the Tridentine Mass, e.g. it was long, boring, and in a dead language. My father’s biggest gripe was that it had too many, “smells and bells,” too many incense and bells. I was nervous when I walked into the nave of the parish. My grandmother handed me her old 1962 Roman Missal and showed me how to rudimentarily use the Missal.…

When imagining what the future may look like, for many the Bible is the last place they would look. Yet for many Christians it has always been the first and foremost source of vital information. Why is this still the case after more than two thousand years? After the age of enlightenment and the subsequent ages of Post Modernism, Post Christianity and Post Truth? Are we so far advanced that reading such an outdated piece of literature could be relegated to the library section of folktales and fantasy?…

At my First Communion, I was welcomed to receive the body and blood of Jesus Christ. Each mass that I attended I received the body and blood of Christ, it was one the most sacred parts of the mass as we are worshiping Jesus Christ as he saved us from sin. During mass, they would always read a passage from the Bible. Each passage that was read I would attentively listen to what was being said.
